First the windows, replaced the relay and fuse, still nothing- not going down.
Headlights, new relay, switch, different motor (tried three different ones) parking lights come on, no headlights (replaced lamps with new ones thought old ones could have been burned out). Will cycle through, but will not stay up. any ideas?

Did you change the relay at the motor and the one under the dash for the headlights?

It sounds like the motor. There is a circular plate inside that shoul cut power to the motor when the headlights are in the up position. Are you sure you are using the correct versions on the relay and motor for your model year?

try the window switches...I think it has been mentioned numerous times that the switches are what go bad on the windows.

If they go up & back down & stop or continuously cycle it is likely that one or two of the diodes attached to the h/l motor is fried. Fix this with some new diodes from radio shack (or cannibalize a kereoke machine like me). If they continuously cycle you may have the former at fault; easy to test with a volt-meter-- check resistance both ways across the diodes. I'd say take off the motor to preform the tests, and dont put it back on until you're certain it is either broken or working as designed. Also, and this one is dirty but necessary, crawl under the dash with a flashlight with your head on the clutch and check out the wiring to the headlight switch. Possibly it is a melted wad of plastic, shorting out a lot of crap. You can disconnect the switch from the dash from there & get a better look.
