I love the look of these. Is it possible to get them this side of the pond? And, any ideas about number plate installation if I do? Otherwise, any of you US guys with a spare?
Cheers,

I've seen some of those lights on ebay, but not too often. Not sure where you might find them. I have one, so as far as the license plate mounting, I could show you what I did. Though it sounds like you're not in the US, so you have a different shaped plate. I just took lights off of a truck (the kind that mount on the bumper, angling in) and attached them to the rubber bumper on the rear of my car angling in. Doesn't look too bad. I can post pictures if you'd like. _________________ 1978 924

I think I may have found one. Yeah, I'm in the UK so i have a long plate and a euro bumper. May be able to get a motorbike style little plate though. Yeah, pics would be cool. Thanks for the help.

I just sold one lighted to Curt Hill on this list. You should have done a search and you would have found out I had two for sale. My unlighted one might be for sale but I haven't decided yet. Keep after me. It is not lighted. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

Oh, I didn't realise they came in different styles. Yeah, non lighted is fine (I could always wire something up with my plate lights). I'm still wondering whether I really want to modify my lovely euro bumper or just use it for track days... Does it just screw in or does it seal like the rear lights (ie would it be a pain in the arse to swap it with my plate or could I do it quite quickly)?
Cheers,

Performance Products sells these but they don't say "Porsche".
(I've not see how the unlit lenses are installed, but with regard to the lighted lenses):
These are not difficult to install, but do require some drilling and if your car has a raised section where the license plate attaches (American cars do), that area will need to be flattened out for the lense to fit properly. _________________ -Stu

Not always. I have one that says Porsche, non lighted and the mounts are either side of the bulge. Yes, you have to drill holes. The only way would be that it is made to fit in the existing holes. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"
