have any of you guys had trouble with people messing with your car at school? I am kind of nervous someone with key it just cause it's a Porsche or whatever. I wouldn't put it past kids at my school.

thats what im worried about. but whatever theres cameras in my parking lot so theyll catch whoever does it, if at all. people are already jealous that i have a porsche, even if its not running yet. half of them make fun of it becuase it was in peices and they think theyre cool. mines gonna be ready just in time for senior year too!

is it a good first car? how do you like it?

I got mine in eigth grade and I'm going to be a senior next year. Never had anyone mess with it, but I wouldn't put it past some people. -knock on wood- I think it handles pretty well (for being on 25 year old tires and all original suspension pieces), but I haven't driven that many 'sporty' cars. I like the handling characteristics better that of my brother's 2002 Jetta and my friend's '99 Passat 1.8t, but those are both front wheel. I think its a great first car, and probably the only one at my school thats a better first car is another buddy's 2001 A4 Quattro turbo that hes got lightly modded.

It is the only one at my school, but it is nothing in comparison to my friend's medium modded twin turbo Audi S4. I outran a Ferrari in the Gumball 3000 while chasing a nitro-methane burning twin turbo Porsche and twin turbo Bentley. And that was without using third gear.

got mine for my 17th birthday. its been superb no major problems it came with me to uni and has never been touched despite living on the street in Newcastle. i am taking it to Le Mans for the third time leaving 2moro

It was my first car and had it in high school. No one messed with it because they knew what would happen to them if they did!

If you do not have that rep at school then just do not look for trouble.
