You shouldn't have much if any lag at all on stock boost. My car is US spec and it builds full boost at around 2400RPM I'd say. Even with a few more PSI it can't be that far behind in spool up. With an intercooler, the lag is gonna be a little worse depending on the setup. (ie. bends, pipe diameter, length of pipe, etc)
A free flowing exhaust may help lag a little, while it should give you some good increases in power as well. _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

On my 944 Turbo S I installed an Lindsey Boost enchancer. So the Turbo Boost comes 600rpm earlier. And when it is possible, I will do this also on my 924 Turbo. _________________ The little world of my Porsches: www.fette-platte.com |

Hi i am from England that counts as urope i am with sandy on this mine has a mondeo intercooler on it at the moment and a nice water injection set up so i can run my boost to what 0.9 bar would that be the safe limit , i also have a 944 intercooler siiting around at the moment so if you have a bigger intercooler would you get better resulsts by beeing abl to put more cold air in,if there is not much diffrence, then i would seel the 944 cooler, the mondeo is fitted down below infront of the radiator and i have a new rad made for better flow and a bigger eletric fan and i have no troubles with the over heating.
by the way i am running at 0,8bar at the moment withthe water injection a friend of mine owns a imprezza anew one he thinks mine is faster than that,

_________________ bulldog fred
