I'm sorry, but what a piece of crap!
It might have been a nice car at one time, and maybe it could be again (with a lot of cost and effort!), but what a piece of crap!
What sort of cr*t*n lets a unique car like that get into that sort of mess? Wants shooting!

If the wheel would be genuine GT3 ones, it would be worth buying it for even bigger money
This car has seen better days, but it would be nice project. Needs just new inetrior, paint and engine rebuild. It already has 5-lug brakes and body-kit. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

No, here's a 'nice project' :

not really, but its the shell that I've stripped - its in better condition than that red thing though and it was sitting on someone's drive with no engine in it for about 8 years before we bought it. Now we've had what we need and we're passing the rest on for nothing... well, nearly nothing! _________________ 1998 BMW Z3 2.8 arctic silver & red

I hate it when people aren't straight forward. He knows all the history about the car, but isn't sure if he has the keys and he's never tried to start it. Why can't he just say it doesn't start. My 2pence...
It's an awesome looking car if you imagine it with gleaming guards red...I agree Mike...it's sacrilege letting it get into that state. I bet someone is just going to buy it for the wheels and leave it in a field. Sad.
I hope it sells Seanski, if someone wants a 5lug conversion that thing is a steal. _________________ 1983 - 924 (185K miles) - not mint

guy's,
The red car was up on ebay a couple of months ago. Don't know what has happened to it since then. And i doubt the wheel sare GT3's Probably boxster sizes, which are a bit narrower. I have a 9J BBS 17 which won't fit in my rear arces properley, so i can't see how a 10J will go in.

personally i would love to restore that car. My father is in the auto business and i can get a paint job done off the clock for cheap and then replace the carpet and seats, dye the rest of the interior and fix some engine problems, probably be less work than i've put into my 924 and that car is so much cooler. _________________ late 1979 porche 924, red 2.0l NA 5speed snailshell
Plans: Restore exterior, revitalize interior, install killer sound system, run engine in stock form and have fun.(+ a short throw shifter if i can find one) |

Absolutely, was gonna have them for my n/a, but since the other 931 came along am gonna get that going and prob sell the n/a.... but we'll see - not sure if I can afford to run a blower! (my n/a is my daily drive)
Would have loved the proper 5lug alloys too, but they badly need a refurb, plus new boots etc etc etc... I have the turbo look 4stud alloys on my n/a and my other 931 has the 928 style 16s! _________________ 1998 BMW Z3 2.8 arctic silver & red

Yeah seanski, those 4stud turbo alloys look good. I'm regretting getting new rubber for my 14inchers now, wish I'd looked for some of those alloys (often they come with decent tyres and aren't much more expensive than just the rubber for my current ones.
ATL-racer - couldn't agree more that it should go to someone who'd cherish it..I don't think that the current winning guy is a breaker so hopefully it will go to a good home. _________________ 1983 - 924 (185K miles) - not mint
