I may buy it just for the hood and the nose panel and sell teh car with mine on it.

THe owner told me it needs a flywheel sensor. besids that it boosts just fine and blah blah blah.

THe owner is sellign becaue he just had open heart and it hurts to drive stick.

I'm really not feelign alot of the body work :surr: but as i said all i really want is the hood and nose. After that i think i'll just sell it.

*EDIT*
Where the hell do i find a FLYWHEEL sensor?

Looks kind of rough... What front valance is that? Looks like the stock one, only bent down? And the rear valance looks home made

How much is he asking?

I'm not a 100% sure based on the images, but the shot of the engine bay shows the car was obviously repainted. The question would be was it a cosmetic respray or was it due to an accident.

Look at the spring bolts - they are painted red - doubt they came from the factory that way. There is over spray on the firewall padding on the same side (passenger side since its LHD). I'd look a little more closely at that side of the vehicle to see if the door and fender line up. Worst case scenario is that the front pasenger fender was hit pretty hard and messed up the suspension there.

But, I might be looking for something that isn't there.

Actually, worse case scenrio is that the driver side spring bolts (not pictured) are painted red too and it was a full head on collision. Running the VIN might be worth it if you don't know anyone who will do it for free.

Do the plyers by the wiper motor come with it?

good idea. I'm not sure of an accident but i know the car was previously white. It has a terrible paint job and the door jambs are still white.

Very observant of you though. You guys are sharp

Maybe it was repainted when the body kit was installed.

The rear valance looks like a front valance that was hacked and stuck on.

Looks like it needs a lot of restoration under the hood to get it running at all. It seems to be missing lots of small detail parts.

i thougth the rear was a front too. hahahahah

If it is cheap to get it running that is a plus. He said it needs a flywheel sensor however that much costs. any ideas?

Honestly i'm not really that interested in getting it running. My main point of interest is the hood and the nose piece. After that I would put the sucka on ebay or just part it out.

Hell the same rims are on ebay now for $405

You said somethings under the hood were missing, any ideas

Why does he say the flywheel sensor's bad? Does it run? If so, the flywheel sensor's probably ok - that's normally a go/no-go part. If it runs, but misfires and the tachometer needle flops around, there's a connector on the DITC box that causes this. The DITC box is mounted on the center hump behind the radio. The DITC box and the connector (rectangular 12 pin) are accessible from the drivers footwell area. Just unplug-replug or unplug-clean-replug to fix (if it actually runs and the symptoms are misfires, backfires, tach flopping).

It shouldn't even start if the flywheel sensor's bad, so I wouldn't be looking to replace that. If you're lucky, that connector unplug-replug may be all it needs. Otherwise, the problem could be any number of different things from vacuum leaks, needing new plugs-wires-dist-cap-rotor, fuel pump relay, ignition switch, etc..

and with that begins the parting out process. Unless its gonna take a $1-$100 part to get it running i'll strip it bare and put the parts on eBay.

Make a nice profitna d make some of my p-car brotherin happy at the same time.
