|

The oil in the reservoir of the PS is foaming and overflowing when turning the wheel. Althought the cap is tight, the oil drops on the hot engine head and the car smokes like a furnace. I turn the wheel left and right to bleed it from possible air, the more it moans and groans louder and louder while pulling the wheel more.
At first it did this when it was cold and it disappeared, now it is constantly. What to do to get safely to the service station, or did I already destroy things?

| Guess non-reply is due to the fact of having no experience with this problem. Well; the steering house was gone. Therefore it worked against the pump (which was ok) and causing over-pressure in the system and oil coming out of the reservoir. Expensive, but my workshop has used material, so a secondhand housing that was ok was placed. Hope this helps for others with similar problem. |
