Are there any choices in replacing the front bumper and bottom front spoiler for 924s? I'd love to get a euro front end, or even a carrera gt style bumper. Would a 944 front spoiler bolt on?
Also I'd prefer a local source in CA, instead of overseas shipping.
Thanks. _________________ 1986 944 | 1978 924 (FS) | 1982 931 | 1980 931 |

GT Racing apparently have full Carrera GT kits, sold in pieces. You could get a nose section from them.
As far as I know, the Euro bumpers are just bolt-in. It's finding them in the 'States that's the problem.
I think it's only the bumper itself that's different between the U.S. and Euro cars..? _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Their are a lot of choices...
You can update to the 944 style... front half of a Carrera GT
You can update to the 968... complete body conversion
You can update to a 944 Turbo nose on the 924 (modification to bumper piece required)
You can update to a 944 Race style bumper and splitter combo (modification to bumper piece required)
You can put a lot of stuff on the car and even keep the 924 Fenders.
You can do a C or D production conversion
Holbert set the stage decades ago...
944 turbo nose on a 924
The Carrera GT, GTS, GTR etc... these cars can be imitated...
Depends on what all you want to do... |

Those are some interesting options, but I'd like to keep it simple. Also I would prefer something that would bolt-on with little hassle.
Would a 944 front bumper (the bottom portion) bolt on? Would any year 944 bumper fit, or were there changes done to the bumpe rin certian years? _________________ 1986 944 | 1978 924 (FS) | 1982 931 | 1980 931 |

Pretty damn sure the Euro bumpers just bolt-on.
Check out SoyRacers car. One of the nicest I've seen...
Ask him about the bumpers. _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

PCA, I just got some euro bumpers for my car, it's all bolt on..... they are are reasonable to get from europe, except for the shipping or freight. _________________ Ryan Moone

Euro bumpers are probably the best looking on the 924, but shipping will probably be quite a bit. So would the front bumper of a 83' 944 bolt on? I might be picking up an 83' 944 (manual steering, stick, red/black and it actually runs) as a parts car. _________________ 1986 944 | 1978 924 (FS) | 1982 931 | 1980 931 |
