| No but you could probably get one to fit. It will look different but still work. Maybe you wouldn't have to put the key in all the way or maybe you would put it in all the way but it will be longer. Who knows, it should be able to work. |

It is a VW key blank, but I don't know which model. All locksmiths have it. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo |

the thing is that a I found a 924 n/a that with be up for sale in an auction next friday and they don't have the keys for the car (the ex-owner didn't pay his rent and got is car seized by the bailiff). Is the ignition switch the same as on a rabbit or and old audi? I guess I could get the key remade with the paper if I go to a Porsche dealer.
anyway, the car isn't very pretty (its arlequin, like MK3 vw golf arlequin) but it seem's to be in good condition and it was imported from germany in 98. I beleive I could get the car for about 500$ CND or less if I'm lucky. Here's a picture of the car.

Holy Funky 924 Batman !
Great deal for $500, it's almost worth that just for the bumpers. _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive

| I'm not sure that's a paint job that was done on purpose. If you look closely, it appears that the body panels have been replaced. There are some serious wrinkles showing in the front on the blue fender which could explain the bumper, nose panel and hood. |

I've seen a car painted like that before in germany and I thought it was the ugliest thing in the world.
what is the point of having that colour scheme? its a good way to make any car look like a piece of crap. _________________ 78 924 sold.
