Did a part number search. It's still available new, from what I can tell. Might need to get a loan to purchase one.

I just wanted the number so I could try and get detailed parts info from a friend at Porsche. Built specs etc.

But for kicks I did call the dealer to ask. It is a special order item (what a suprise) that has to come from Germany. I got quoted $5121.28. Maybe I should sell my car and all of my spares, Add $2000 and pick one up

2 ways to look at it. I have seen people pay more than 5K to add more power to a 951 or 944. But 5K is insane for just the intercooler.

Just for kicks, I also looked up the hood cowl and gasket, to do 100% genuine.

Hood Cowl 937.511.051.00 $1376.10
Hood Gasket Strip (sit down for this one too!) 937.511.113.00 $371.80

$6869.18 to go OEM! Could sell my 944S2 for three 924 parts!!? NAH!

So while where on topic. What all has to been done other than adding the intercooler to get more HP?

Reading from the book "924"

recalibrated K-Jetronic (whatever that means)

Increased boost 0.72 to 0.78 bar (931 ROW 0.62 to 0.68 bar)

intercooler

Nothing else is mentioned.

My source just quoted me:
931.110.033.04
Genuine
$4041.71
Special Order from Germany

I just saved you over $1000. I'll split the difference with you!

Anyone got one they want to sell?

I would think $1000 range would be my willing to spend limit.

Didn't someone have one for sale awhile back?
