for $12,500! What a steal! It needs a few things but nothing major.

I'm off to the races for the next 3 days. I may get pics up before Monday but don't count on it.

Bye.

Very nice car, I approve. Look out though, maintenance can be very high on that car.

Shame on you!

It's raining, so I'll have to wait for the picture session.

I will put it up for sale in the spring. If I don't get a reasonable offer, then I won't sell it.

Besides, I think the Porsche Gods are in fact pissed. It's a long weekend and yesterday I blew a rad hose off the BMW and won't be able to drive it until Tuesday night.

That thing can slid like a Mustang and Launch like an F1 car. Freakin' WOW!

I thought I blew a rad hose off on Sunday morning but the rad neck actually broke, so I had it replaced for $200.00 and the oil changed and the coolant flushed.

Running fast again!

Was this a private deal or did you buy it from a dealer (that should have at least a few days of warranty)?

Private sale. And yes it worries me that somthing broke about 1 1/2 days after buying it. But I was driving it fairly hard and that rad neck is a common issue. I was told by a friend to check it out and I forgot.

I put the car back on the hoist for nearly 4 hours today for the work and went over the car again. All suspension parts are tight and well off for maintenance and the engine is strong, so I don't mind the rad being switched out.

FWIW, my '92 325i radiator neck broke apart also recently. The plastic just sort of gets brittle and starts cracking over time. I have 250k on mine and have not touched the engine or driveline yet. This is a common occurance so do not let it bother you. Do the 540's get decent gas mileage? I am thinking of getting one for my wife to daily drive.
