Does anyone know where I can find a replacement wiring harness? I'm looking for one of those harnesses that comes with ALL the wiring that was orginally in the car, ALL the relays, ALL the leads, etc. _________________ 1980 924 N/A Automatic w/ Factory Air

The wiring harness is not available from Porsche the way that you are asking. If you haven't taken the time to look, it is made up of sections or groups that unplug from each other, and run to different areara of the car. Relays and fuses are not included either.
Some of the harness pieces are different from year to year, so... The only way that you will get a wiring harness that is 100% compatible with your car, and has all of the relays and fuses is to remove it from another car the same year as your that also has the automatic tranny. That means you need to find one intact in a salvage yard, go there, and remove it yourself. |

You may,if you're mechanically inclined, remove your old one and make a new one using the old as a pattern. This will ensure that your not going to go thru all the trouble of finding a used replacement and having it crap out in 6 months or a year.Believe me removing the main engine harness and re-installing a new one is not for the faint of heart. They are however sometimes available on eBay.I bought the last nos engine harness, rear harness and dash harness from Ian's autoparts in Pompano Beach,Fla. _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive

Eagleday.com has a lot of the OEM connectors and wires for the DIY. _________________ 1981 931 (Concours)
