I dont think anyone here has bought their p car to impress anyone. They've bought them, I hope at least, to learn the in's and out's of the p car and to have something that makes them happy, not to show off.

I'll give you a 'right on!' to stay out of religious terms

I have to admit I am intregued by this line of thought. What does make us want a 20+ year old car. I am reminded of something I read that in essence proposed that we make a decision and then spend 90% of our energy justifying that decision. That justification then becomes part of us. I think I owned one because of a combination of all aspects, name recoginition, looks, history (oh I'm justifying, I didn't know the history when I bought it), reputation, cost and it being an undeniable sports car. Oh yeah, did I mention purchase price?

In my Opinion, i dont care about anybody who thinks that the 924 is a bad car or something. The person might be jealous or might be not, but i love the 924 to a degree that i wont buy a car other than a 924. Other people might love their car in the same way.

All what i care about is that i drive a car that i like! If this car was a VW, Audi or Porsche, i would have bought it, because i love it.
