I am looking at getting rid of the pop-up head lights on my '82 924, I dont want to buy the aftermarket 924GT sunken headlight kit. I was wondering if anyone has used headlights from another car manufacture to work like a Nissan 300ZX ?

Yeah! The 300zx units are a direct swap. It took me about thirty minutes to get it all sorted out. I will post pics.

I am thinking of fiberglassing the front end and cutting in some nice Honda Accord lights. That should improve the look.

I have found a few good outlets for 300zx lights but boy are they proud of them the same price as the GTRacing sunken headlights. I really dont want to make my 924 a ricer, I already have a honda all decked in fast and furious cloths. I am going this weekend to look a set of 300zx lighat and measure them

My Honda is a 90 Accord, wing on back and exotic front end all fiberglass, low profile tires and of course 2" off the ground with coil overs.. I have repaired the front end 5 times because of curbs, speed bumps and road kill

You can get HID's for the '24 without replacing the pop-ups. Theres a few place that sell the kits, but the quality isn't going to be as good as say, OEM BMW. Also, they're pretty pricey. Heres one site:
