It's either 40 or 42 degrees, not exactly sure, 42 seems to ring more bells.

I measured 50°, but that would be as tilted up from horizontal.
Looking at it the other way, tilted down from vertical, it would be 40° - but then I couldn't guarantee that the driveway here's perfectly level. In any case, looking at your picture, it looks like you need to tilt it some more.

Actually ive been measuring it at 38deg, However i think its best to do it at 10 deg less, for a couple reasons. the first is the part that causes the spacing trouble is the strut tower, which is at about 10, so that makes it 28 deg. also, the more determining factor.. I measure about 6" of clearance between the block and the chasis, and 2" between the top of the head and the strut tower.
There is a little more angle than the picture shows, the angle of the camera makes it seem like less.

If you did them at 40deg i believe youd think you have more room than you actually do.

also the top of the head is at 10 deg, so the angle i cut was about 18 then screwed a board to the other board that goes across the top of the head.

Note: the assembly is not tilted the camera was.

What are building the headers from? Looks pretty thin for a turbo unless it is stainless. What will you be welding with?
