I say that it's pronounced with two syllables "poor-sha". My wife says that that's a woman's name, and that the correct way to say it is like the porch on the house, except with an "s" instead of a "c".

it is a family name, and the pair of german women that I know have always said it Por sha, as well that is how they pronounce it at the dealership.
