Errr... Ok, so I've bought H4 halogens, and i would like to install them in my 1988 924s I looked at the lights, and only saw one screw? whats with this? any tricks, i dont wanna tear apart my headlights stupidly... anyone got a little step by step, i checked clarks garage for it, and they dont have it. _________________ Proud owner of

would these be like the cheap ones on eBay? I actually bought them and the fit well, just upside down. I haven't hooked up the little purple light yet, but the regular Headlights work quite well for $25. _________________ 1987 924S Guards Red

They are installed the same way you would install a new sealed beam. Raise the headlights, remove the plastic shroud that surrounds the light, and remove the chrome retaining ring (3 screws IIRC) that holds the bulb in the frame. You should be able to remove the old bulb and unplug the connector. Insert the H4 bulb into your new globes, plug in the connector then position it so it fits into the frame like the old bulb. The three glass tabs on the new globe should match the detents on the frame. Install the chrome ring, replace the surround and it should be a done deal. Don't mess with the headlight adjusting screws as the new globe should go back to the same setting.
