Am I the only one who finds these wildly annoying? I doubt it.

Yes.
No.
Am I the only one who finds the two question the opposite?

They are seperate questions Teo.
The poll stands on it's own.
P.S. Thanks for your support! |

They don't bother me unless they stretch the forum, there's one over on the Rennlist that does it and it's sort of annoying. But as long as they're within a certain size it's fine with me, usually they're pretty cool.
Also, many forums have a size restriction on signature pictures and text. Like the image can only be 500x150 pixels or less for example. _________________ Mike

I'm gonna say yes to that. But it's just a personal thing (you are provided an area for an avatar, after all)
Not that I really want it banned or anything. _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Every other board I frequent has sig pics, and moderators who police them to make sure they're not too big, or too obnoxious.
I think my pic is pretty reasonable, and I use it as a link to my cardomain site through the miracle of URL/IMG tags.
If you're getting annoyed by sig pics of a reasonable size and relevant content, I think it's time to take a little vacation. _________________ '81 931 in various states of assembly |

| Actually yours are the most offensive. Paul and Neil both have a small reasonable picture at the end of their posts. When reading a thread that you frequent it is so choppy due to the size of your pictures it makes it difficult to read. When it is every other post it is awful. |

We had this discussion awhile back on this board and was considering making this post/topic myself.
I fully agreed with the desision that was made previously,
Pictures ONLY in the avitar and NOT in the signature!
please disable this feature in the coding mods! _________________ 3 928s, |

i think its a waste of bandwidth. it is especially annoying when you have one guy/gal with a picture signature that posts three or four post to a topic - how repeative is that . . . post a link to your website, don't showcase your pics in your signature - its just down-rigth distracting and online gamer-like. _________________ 924.org (no time to complete)

I don't care for the animated avatars. Very distracting while you're trying to read. Rennlist has these and it makes if very difficult...like somone waving a flag out of the corner of your eye while reading. _________________ '80 924 n/a SOLD |

no offense to the member, but could you imagine what it would be like if timstar92404 found out that you could put images in a signature?
well, I'guess I've made my point - I'll stop spamming. Oh, and for when I take my annoying signature example off, and folks want to get an idea of what was annoying . . .
this image was in my signature to make my point - imagine that on this page 4 times. . . _________________ 924.org (no time to complete)
