Yup, on my wifes '83 NA, mostly because of the hot-start problem, that ocurred lately and of course the skyrocketing fuel prices Hey US guys, 1 litre of 98 (premium for you) costs 14,35 EEK (app. 1,1 $).....
Anyway, I have wrecked '88 Alfa 90 2.0 with Motronic (125hp, like 924) and all the harness and hardware still there. I'm starting to sort out what and where next weekend.
I was wondering if some of you has some good ideas or hints what to consider when doing it?

Do you plan to use the stock Alfa\Motronic control system? You may consider using a stand-alone unit just for the ability to tune it. I spent some time retuning mine this weekend after changing injectors and I still feel 924's have some peculiar tuning quirks that may show up as extreme stumbles on acceleration if enrichments are not toned down some. I think it has something to do with injector placement. You may get around this by mounting the injectors farther up the intake instead of the head. If you should decide to go the MS route I can set you up with tables that will get you in the ballpark.

Yes, I'm using stock Alfa Motronic ECU, and I was already thinking about the injector placement. I will put the to the itake manifold, near the head (pointing kind of downstream).
Since this Motronic system is closed-loop, I don't think there will be much problems, but anyway, every bit of good info is very welcome _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp
