|
|
Hey, i was wondering about the options that came on the Club Sport version of the 1988 924s. what are the traits and differences that it carries? all i've heard so far is that they have only one side rear view mirror and that its not supposed to be painted. then behind the rear wheels, there are supposed to be rear cladding or rock deflectors or w/e you wanna call it. and then the engine pistons are upgraded to the euro specs as well as a different trany. i'm asking because some guys thought that my 924s had the Club Sport option and i'm just checking out. also with the car dynoing at 137hp and 131lbs torque stock this is the only real answer imo. help me out, take a look at the pics in my websites located in my signature! thanks _________________ Black 1988 924S SE

would the option code be in my vin #? and yeah i got a sunroof
also yes i AM the guy who they were making fun of... i didnt even know that that was posted their, i had recently joined b/c i bought a 944, and had some questions about the cat, and i noticed this ricer post and thought it would be funny, but then it was on me....!!!! well i explained everything that i had been doing with the car, and now they are all helping me out with it! big turn around, anyways i dont know why they were being such jackasses. and they wrote some pretty mean things on my website, but i dont think my car is rice at all. besides i hate rice, we all have seen ricers around town, and its silly how they put a body kit and loud exhaust and then think their car is fast. i'm not like that at all, i did have probably too much fun with the neon, but i'm just an 18 year old kid who enjoys it, and i think it looks cool, and if u saw it, you wouldn't be disgusted! as to the nos system, EVERYONE here knows that it is the most cost efficient to hp gain. (as long as you tune ur engine not to blow up...lol) anyways i enjoy working on the car and thats all that matters to me. _________________ Black 1988 924S SE

Your option codes should be on a white sticker in the spare tire compartment. It's about 2 x 3 inches. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

| Yep I can see it and there's no 030 in the options list, so it's not a Clubsport. Sorry. |

Hey Mav,
Did you illuminate that option code sticker with your neons for that picture
I would guess your car is an SE based on 756 and 526. Either that or 756 indicates it had to ride the short bus to school. _________________ Michael Manning
