Porsche doesn't care about maintenace costs or longevity. The more parts that break and sooner they break the more money the get.

I don't think it would cost anymore than a normal car to maintain after you get it running right again. I'm sure there are alot of things on that car that need attention due to the lack of use. After that though it shouldn't be anymore expensive to maintain than a 944.

I have to disagree.
Porsche doesn't make things so that they break. If that were the case, then they wouldn't have gone to the trouble of galvanizing the bodies so that they wouldn't rust, they wouldn't have done many things that increase the engine life, and most certainly, Porsche would have gone out of business long ago.

Who bought all of these new and put them in a warehouse to keep?! If I ever bought a real nice car I'd sure as hell drive it like it's designed for.

sorry gotta correct you on this, porsches maintenance intrevals are longer than any other exotic vehicle manufacture by leaps and bounds and they pride themselves on there vehicle life longevity.
as per maintenance costs depends on the model but the majority of the cost for these cars is labour nothing more.

is car theft a felony in Col.?
cuz' i know this guy who knows this guy....jk
I believe that the exhaust comes off of the cylinder head in a B-E-A-utiful collection of tig welded mandrel bent pieces, drool. i've seen a pic before and was considering haveing my welder buddy replicate one for me,of course with a different 4 bolt flange so i could use a different turbo.I figure even if it cost a grand it would be worth it 'cuz it would never crack and I could always sell it on ebay for at least half of what i paid.
Ah to be rich.No wait.Single,yea.No wait,good looking,yea that's it.
