busted wires around the fuse box

i looked at the fuse box and alot of the wires are old and some's cover is melted to the wires.. im thinking it need a new wires but dont know which of wires to get to replace those.

should i let the pro do it or simple get some wires from the store and do it yourself?

This might have something to do with your electric fuel pump not running.
If your are not experienced in this sort of repair get an auto electrician.
