Does anyone know if Boxter or 911 rims will fit a 931 ? I've found a few sets on ebay that i'd like to buy but i'm unsure if they'll fit.Currently now i've got 7 x 16 and 8 x 16 S2 rims on but with the new paint job I want to get a new set of wheels.Any help is very much appreciated. _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive

The bolt pattern is the same...but the offset will put your wheels out past the fender/quater panel lips. No worries about the backs rubbing.
The boxster wheels will fit the best...911's like I have run 255 in the rear...so it's quite wide!
My suspension is like a rock so I am not worried about rubbing...in the event I do get some I will fabricate a set of suspension limiting snubbers that wil stop the tarvel before the rub. |

I plan to run 18" 911 Turbo hollow-spoke wheels on my 931. Rears are 10" and fronts are 8" wide, with proper spacers at rear, they fit just fine (a little "machining" has to be done to fender edges though). _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

FYI I have 911 17" C2 Turbo wheels on my 924 (931 brake upgrade) and I needed no back spacing at all. I don't know if the 18 are any different tho. _________________ 1976 924

I put 6 and 7 in boxster wheels on as a test and they looked fine. I only had three rims and four tires and never really drove the car. I went with the flatdish instead.
The boxster rims one 6 in front and the 2 sevens are for sale. Never run on the street and are perfect. New car takeoffs I bought from a NY Porsche dealer. Let me know. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

| The front wheels and tires from any Boxster will fit all four corners of a 931 or 924S. |
