This one's especially for Paul, seeing as he mentioned it when he was over here...
Notice the headlights on the silver car in the foreground, Paul;
BTW, the shot's from a meeting of our pommy brothers. _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Thats pretty sweet, but you shouldn't post that pic without some more info behind the head lights!
Also I have to have a login to go to that site.
All those cars look very hot. _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

Sorry, don't have any info. Just saw the pic and thought I'd show it. I reckon it'd be a cool mod but you'd have to contact the blokes direct to find out about it I 'spose... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

| I rewired my lights so I can drive with my driving lights on and keep my headlights from coming up. Having the bucketlights come up just to have the driving lights on was bugging me. |

The euro bumpers are great with the driving lights.
Notice we also don't have the side markers either.
I reckon it looks better.
Bumpers don't have the shocks in them either and are bolt on. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

Thanks for that, Khal.
Now we just have to figure out how to find more info. I wonder it they are fixed or able to be retracted. |

yeah, that's what they have in europe, I bet they really envy are safety bumpers though I do like the projector headlights though, maybe they would be brighter than mine, (Although I think it's because they are out of alignment.) _________________ 1987 924S Guards Red

This may sound funny to the US guys, but I actually prefer the US bumpers to the Euro bumpers. I think they look great. I want some...

Neil, that's interesting. I'd like to be able to have the driving lights on without the main lights coming up too.. How did you wire them? _________________ '82 924 NA Euro (hers)

Well, Haynes isn't much help..they don't even show the additional headlights. All I know is that they run off Fuse 5, but they must be triggered by the headlamp relay or maybe the lifting/retracting relay. _________________ '82 924 NA Euro (hers)

Gram - I think they get power from the light relay as mine only come on with high beam. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA
