| I have an 87 924s and after I sold the stock DME I decided to go back NA to get on the road faster. What year 944 DMEs will work? I have seen a lot of 83 944 DMEs that say they for 944 85.5 and down. I know that the 87 924 is pretty much an early 944 but I want to make sure the DME I get will work. |

I think the 87 924S DME has a unique and different part number than the early 944 DME.
The 87 944 and 88 924S DME are definitely different.
So what does that leave? 87 924S, and maybe 85/2 and 86 944 DME? |

Yeah, I found the part number. The 87 924s has the same DME as 85.5 - 87 944
Part number 944.618.121.04 |

DME 944.618.121.04 (Motronic ML3.1 with D2732 24pin EPROM) was used in '87 924S and in 85.5-87 944 with M44.07/08 motors only. _________________ Euro 924 '85 016/8 4-wheel disk brakes |
