Junkyards and posting on this site or ebay. I sold all of mine.

Try using a 944 spoiler.

Buy the way if you have an early 924 without the spoiler then defintely buy a 944 hatch. Almost nothing you can do with the non spoiler that you will like. 944 hatch from 100 to 200 depending where you live. They were for sale in Hershey yesterday.

Thanks, I have a spoiler on it now but it looks pretty bad. I was hoping that they were making a replacement for it but can not find them anywhere on the web. Would a spoiler from a 944 fit on the 924 hatch if I found one?

The 944 spoiler will not fit directly onto your 931 hatch. BT&DT The bolt pattern is different. You would be better off finding a used 944 hatch.

Another option is to glue the spoiler onto the rear hatch. A few people have successfully done this.

See my earlier post for a step-by-step on how I glued a 944 spoiler onto my 81 NA.

Well, I had a good one that I offered for free on this site back in January. No takers, so it went to the dump.

My luck, I have found some in England, aftermarket for around $775-1000.00. I can only image the shipping costs!

I find the freight from England is incredibly expensive. Avoid shipping from there unless there is absolutely no other choice.

just an fyi, the 87-88 924S hatch, will also accomodate a 944 spoiler (if you want the larger sized spoiler) , direct bolt on replacement.

There is a GT spoiler custom conversion kit sold through PerformanceProducts.com I have this item on order and was told it was going to be at least 6 weeks before delivery. They said only one company makes them and will only fabricate them with 10 paid orders. Cost 400.00 usd.

They say on the add for the GT spoiler that it does not fit the turbo? Is there a reason? I thought it was the same hatch? They also say theat about the other 924 rear valences?

I am getting confused.

Can i fix the rear glass hatch complete with the spoiler from a 944 direct onto a 924 using the original 924 fittings.

from what I understand from this chain of conversation, you can use a 944 hatch to replace the 924 hatch. Though some of the veterans on this board should be able to confirm that statement.

Yes, you can. I transplanted a complete hatch/spoiler from an '86 (IIRC) 944 onto my '80 924. Not a problem at all. Came with the 3rd brake light and rear wiper, too.
