| The Edmunds site does have value for older car... In Outstanding condition, best price at dealer is 3k. |

thats really expensive even for a perfect condition 924 escept if you really like it or something..
they aren't colectible and don't have much value so most people don't get them as an investment or anything.
if you pay 5 grand for it, it will be pretty hard to sell it for close to that amount.
you can get a late 80s 944 for that price but you need to do that belt service you mentioned.
6 grand us is like 7 grand or more canadian... thats crazy _________________ 78 924 sold.

Thank you to all who replied. Your advice steered me away from buying a car that was overpriced and under powered.
I found a 1988 924s that was meticulously maintained by a PCA member. I am picking up the car tomorrow and will post pics somewhere.
The Internet and 924.org are very good things. I am glad that we have this resource for information.
