Since i've bought the car, almost every time i start it, or if its already warm, she turns over, kinda putts, then dies, and then when i turn the key a second time she starts up very very easily, but then always has a gritting screaching noise as if the starter wont disingauge in time. And its really really annoying... i'm thinking its just the starter, like i need to send it to get rebuilt, but is there anything i can do to either help it start easier (like only having to turn the key once to get it started!!! without the screaching?) thx ask any questions you need, or if you need me to test her in anyway thats fine.

A sreaching like that is normally caused when you try and start in gear....
How is the travel on your clutch doing... If your driving an auto it can be directly linked to the inhibitor, used to happen in my girlfrien mazda. The alignment of the inhibitor of out and this sends a message that your in gear (even if your not).
Other than that you could check the two bolts that bolt the starter into its bracket, I've heard if these are loose then the starter can have troubles disenguaging.
