Hi,
I got a 1987 924S about two weeks ago. I have already raced it with the Central division SCCA Solo II. I have another race this weekend. that's what I love to do, and that's why I bought the car.
It is silver with a Sun-roof Power windows, and power mirrors though the latter do not work.
Everything else works exept the Speedo and a light for the Oil pressure.
The car is also my daily driver for my 4 minute commute to work.
I have raced for 3 years now, most reciently in a MKIV VW New beetle, it was heavy and it "pushed" instead of turned.....
I am an Information Security anylist (CISSP) for a wirless telecom Billing company in Champaign Illinois.
I just wanted to introduce my self and say hay, "hay!"

*SOMEDAY*
this year my wife and I are adopting a child overseas (we have two sons already), so the race budget is 'smaller" and I will stay with Solo II this year....... |

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but you
still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs. |
