I had a guy knock on my door today wanting to know if I wanted to buy another Porsche. He noticed I had 2 924 in the driveway and thought I might want another (a non running 944.) There is no way I could buy it and still live 4 non running Porsches is all I'm allowed and that is pushing it. A month or so ago I had a guy stop buy wanting to buy parts.
Has anyone else had someone come buy wanting to sell you a Porsche just because you already own 1 or 5?
How many Porsches do you have to own before pepole start dropping by at random wanting to buy/sell parts or cars? _________________ 80 924

I had my 924, my 931 (at the time) and then I just got my 928 (first one) sitting in the driveway and I had someone come upto my landlords door and ask to talk to me as he had a 928 that he was trying to sell, so I went over to his place and looked at it took a couple pics and shot the *#&* for awhile,
I have followed probably 4 other 924 owners right to there house before and talked to them about the cars, and told them the web address. lol _________________ 3 928s, |

What year is the 944?
I only have three Porsches right now, and two out of the three run just fine (the 924S is still waiting for me to install the new engine).
If you want people to stop stopping by, why don't you put the cars out of sight (in the garage?)? |

Don't have that problem here.
I have seen only one 924 and the daughter said she saw a newer convertible, but couldn't tell me the model.
Cars are as rare as the service shops. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

Seen no other 924s except board members. I see two 944's around the place pretty regularly tho. _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev
