So i'm replacing the fuel filter, and its in the mail right now, so i need to know exactly where it is and how to replace it if it's tricky at all. My car keeps turning off because the old one seems to be full of gunk. oh and my car is the 1988 924s thx

I thought the 924S was like the 944 and the fuel filter is under the car. I have only heard two warnings...Wear gogles to avoid gas in the eyes, and use flare wrenches to make sure you dont strip the fittings. Older fuel filters can be a PITA to get off.

You really need to get a Haynes manual

So the fuel filter is right under the fuel tank, as in over the fuel tank, or right beneath it? or to the side?

slide under the back and it will either be right visable, or you will have to pull off a cover to be able to see it. but it shoudnt be hard to find.
