I'd just go with cleaning everything up, painting the calipers etc and adding nice steel braided or coloured pipes.. I don't particularly like the 924 when it's covered in tacky add-ons... just my preference though. _________________ Mars Red '78 Euro 924 n/a

I work across the runway from a squadron of 12 C5s. I could make some calls and maybe scare up a tail assembly. The unit might want... oh, $10M or so for it. You could go C-17 if you want something in a composite. It comes with a vinyl decal that says "Boeing Racing" so nobody will think you're putting in Airbus or Lockheed parts.
If you want exhaust I'd recommend one off a Pratt and Whitney F117 - it'll add at least another 8,000lb of thrust. This is begging for a photoshop.
Seriously though, if you're looking for stickers or decals there's a place a lot of people order them through. They're made just like the stock ones and don't cost a whole lot. I'm sure somebody here has a link. |

lol, cool. i spent all my last summer over xmas staring at the ass-end of C17's. this is us unloading a chopper from the back of one.
the coolest thing i saw was 2 brand new red F350's converted as fire pumps. they had tracks instead of wheels and they still retained the rack and pinion steering. they were HUGE! And the cool thing was, we chained them down in the C17 side by side!! _________________ '86 944 |

Whose C-17s were they? US or Royal Air Force. I'm around C-17s every day at work, the cockpit is an awesome sight to see when power is on. |

and what we got up to in 3mths when we weren't working, lol!

Sounds like fun. I think the 141 is still being flown over here by reserve units. A couple of weeks ago I saw one fly in and was told that it was with the Air National Guard. |
