Looks 924 specific, attaches with 5 clamp type brackets around the edge of the hatch.

Yep. Aftermarket GT (S/R) type. Performance Products sells them for $400. I have a couple of them.

I have that 1 (black) on my 924 at the moment, I like it, really helps high speed rear traction,
and it is a CGT replica

Is it normal for it not to extend up the side of the hatch? Or has it been molested?

I think I'll repaint it black and maybe throw it on the 931

good plan, just sand it down to the fiberglass and blast it black
it looks nice when done right. and as stated keeps the back end way more stable at speeds over no spoiler.

is it really a replica of the 924cgt piece? i thought they just had 944 spoilers?

Yep although the carerra had the spoiler first,it was used later on the 944.

yep, thats what i thought, but what i mean is that i thought the 924cgt/ 944 one was 3 piece rubber spoiler and this one is 1 piece fibreglass (?)

Actually it is styled after the GTR LeMans spoiler...
