Well, the bids on the "S" went higher than I was willing to pay for it. So, I bought this instead: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4507216713

Now I'm just waiting for the 325i auction to close and I'll bea happy camper.

Don't worry, guys, I haven't given up on Porsches. Just need to find an example that's right for me, you know? Some guys like finding cheap ones to fix up and work on all the time. I like working on cars, but I think I've discovered I'd rather have a Porsche that's in tip-top shape BEFORE I buy it.

hmmm, looking at that, i had the oddest notion it sort of looked like a 4 door 924.. maybe..remotely... sorta... late night of working, no days off, not enough coffee yet, delusions are bound to happen at some point..
anyhow, best of luck with it. ive always thought saabs were kind of cool..never had one though, but my grandfather had a saab two stroke i used to play in when i was very small(im pretty sure it was a saab anyhow)..i remember he always had to carry oil to mix in when he got gas..it was pretty neat..
