the 4 stud phone dials, are a VERY rare wheel to come across, consider yourself lucky to have them, but I guess not so luck if oneof them is damaged to beyond repair.

So far everyone i have spoken to in the uk have never seen one. So i guess il have to import one possibly. Anyone in the US or UK have one for sale please post or contact me.

Looking at the damage, how much can they repair there days? Its basically hit the curb hard and taken a section away about 4 inches long around the rim top edge.

Im thinking bout selling the 3 good ones with the damaged one if anyone would want them in the uk, if i did what should i ask for them? 3good 1 damaged.

Any help please!

I recently sold a complete set of four here on the board. Sold the 4 good ones for $150 US and even that took over 30 days to do.

You can get that repaired at a specialist. Or refinisher of wheels. They can weld a section back in and blend it away. They do it all the time when refurbishing and/or polishing wheels.

Hi - just bought a 924 - are the wheels on mine what you are talking about?

Typical rare and yet two turn up at the same time.

Would you mind updating on where and how much your quote is when you get it for my own references just in case.

Sorry, rat, but no. Yours are "spider web" style but they're 15 inches right? Check out different rims at the Tech section of 924.org:
http://www.924.org/techsection/9brakes.htm under the subject "1 - Wheels and tires".

I wouldn't mind a set of those on my 924... 14 inch tires for track day use seems to be hard to find! (At least here in Sweden!)

All is good then Happier that they arent an amazingly rare design, and after looking at the other examples shown, the spider webs are my preference looks wise anyway.

I've been checking around here in Sweden for a set of 4 bolt spider web rims, but they seems to be rare! Someone though they were ony manufactured between 1980 and 1984 (?)...

Anyhow, the sellers here in SWE seems to think they are worth a lot of money. Between 3100 and 5000 SEK = $440 - $710 USD!

So, Rat, keep those rims close!

Well Magnus, how about I buy a bunch of them here in the US for about $50 each, and ship them to you, and we split the profits?

That's an interesting business idea! I just need to find a bunch of 924 owners who want to replace their 14 inch wheels...
