I've always heard diesel in the crank case as a fake "helpful suggestion" you give someone you don't like in the hopes that they will cause expensive damage to their engine.

It does have a/c, but a PO removed the belt to the compressor.

The PO of mine did that as well, with an explanation: apparently it's possible for the compressor belt to shred a nearby hose. I don't ...

Your cold start valve lives at the back of the intake - look for the injector with the connector

You could wire a switch right to that CSV if you wanted, but in the long run you'd just be mask ...
