Hi
I've got Bilsteins aswell and could not get the bump stop to fit. I did read somewhere about an internal bumpstop, guess it makes sense as there really is no way to make the original stop fit.

If you didn't remove the guide tube, then it can't be the angle/ length of it giving you problems as it worked before.

Well, they don't really fit.
The gap in the mount on the torsion tube is 60mm and the smallest i can compress the bushes to is 63mm.

Well they are in ........ish
As the measurements suggested the sleeve is a little to short for the hole, there is a gap of about 3-4mm each side.
