So I am finally back to working on the junked out 924. While pulling parts today I noticed the parts car has a large single plate TB on it.

My 924 has a dual plate (same as a vw rabbit of the era) ...

A friend pulled the starter for me and now I have no clue which is the positive lug... or well, where any of the wires go.

My manual doesn't make it clear. and any marki ...

After all the uninformative posts on a VW board finally a clear reply with a reason. I think I may have located a decent bottom end for $50 anyway. too bad I'm broke as can be.

There was only one 66 originally imported to the U.S with us emissions..... anyone know where it is?
