So I am finally back to working on the junked out 924. While pulling parts today I noticed the parts car has a large single plate TB on it.
My 924 has a dual plate (same as a vw rabbit of the era) ... |

A friend pulled the starter for me and now I have no clue which is the positive lug... or well, where any of the wires go.
My manual doesn't make it clear. and any marki ... |

After all the uninformative posts on a VW board finally a clear reply with a reason. I think I may have located a decent bottom end for $50 anyway. too bad I'm broke as can be. |

I have been tinkering with the idea of putting my good porsche head onto a 1.6 or 1.8l VW bottom end, the 1.8l is from a 1988 vw fox (aka polo lupo) and came with a hydraulic lifter head.

From what I understand, not only is the K-jet tronic identical (in all but configuration) to a like yeared vw van, it's the bottom end and the same block as most VW va ... |
