Yep - M471 is the 'sport group' option. But 474 is the standard Porsche code for 'sport suspension' (shocks) - so uprated shocks (Koni/Bilstein)should be accompanied by this code.

| Cedric - as you are in Sweden you'll have a Euro car. These had many upgrades compared to the NA cars. But the US 931's only got partial upgrades because the emission regulations restricted the power ... |

Valve seats & guides are pretty good as head was professionally rebuilt under PO & has done little miles since (but long time - 10yrs - hence head corros ... |

Oops! Fixed my picture link.
I got a local exhaust fitter to weld my breather tube back to the oil separator block - the pipe wasn't broken, it was the thin metal of the separtor block that had cra ... |

I've discovered my car was suffering from this fault (broken breather). Found it whilst dismantling in this area (I was taking the head off):

Compression test gave: 175, 120, 135, 145 on cyls 1-4. Not too good... and old head bolts were torqued up correctly.
So I've pulled my head. It was hard work!

It did until I went out for my maiden voyage after fitting it!
