I live in the Houston area and believe me you are going to need the A/C. I have it on my 24 and I am glad for it. Not the strongest unit but it helps.

Thanks fore the info. I might have stated it wrongly. It is not the passenger foot area it is behind the passenger seat. From about half way under the seat to the front of the back seat.
