Maybe the threaded union has damaged threads or it’s a little loose inside the filter housing? Looks like it’s replaceable.

Welcome back. Once you've turned up the boost it's difficult to dial it back.

So I've heard.

Yup, that was it. Started by turning the valve completely counter-clockwise and then made adjustments turning clockwise. Approximately 2 complete turns clockwise got me back to 10psi.

No idea why ...

After finally getting the screens removed I cleaned it up in an ultrasonic cleaner.

CIS pressure (3rd) test results:

Ambient temp | 22C | 72F
System Pressure | 6.0 bar
