Thanks for those photos John... does look like her sister car (the Monte car in your first photo) might have had the US reflector stampings on her rear quarter as well... thanks for that!

She's actually in pretty good condition other than the sunroof -roof panel which the idiot who owner her between myself and Herr Ristl welded onto her. Rust is mostly superficial elsewhere.

US spec side reflectors is an answer I wasn't expecting! But seems right... so mystery solved there...
Will see if we have any more photos.... but car pushed back into the corner for a bit until it's ...

Finally, she's running full coil over suspension, so it's interesting to see just how high off the ground she sits:

Something else you can't do these days... the fuel pump etc is in the passenger compartment for easy access.

So it's nice to be able to tick off the similarities with that photo ...

Another good give-away that this is a Werks built car is that the cage extends all the way to the rear. This was done on all (both?) cars built after the Safari of '79 according the Herr Barth because ...

You'll also note that the system is in the drivers footwell!

I already mentioned she's the only known 924T with alloy doors on her... but photos of a magnet not sticking are not exciting really... ...
