So not great news, as the lack of an oil pressure reading is not going to stop it from starting.

Any other suggestions as to what I can check next?

Hi,

I've just stuck my 924 back together after head gasket replacement.

and I'm un-able to start it.

It does seem to have fuel and spark, and seems to kick at the first crank but then ...

I don't know where I heard that the tube was structural, but I remembering reading is somewhere?

yes, I can confirm that I have lost the fight and the headgasket is gone, starting it pushed the water into the oil eeeeeeek

any handy hints to replacement?

Only front 2 cylinders running, as in the car will start with plug leads to back 2 cylinders un-plugged and not make a ...

Timing belt slipping sounds good, that should also produce a lack of compressions to won't it/

got me worried now, so 195/60 won't give standard ride height/diameter? I've only ordered them - maybe I will need to see one on..
