Well, my tank is ruined. It was supposed to be cleaned and refinished, but it turns out its rusted too far. So, what are my replacement options? Fuel cells, oem replacements, something? This sucks.

"Banana" or Torsion bar carrier arms to body (top of the rear wheel well) bolts/nuts.
Don't have those. Will that matter?

No, the 77's are really easy to do - I have mine out at the mome ...

On German auto parts they've got a different fuel accumulator in the 1977 section. I assumed it was a 20cc accumulator

Hows this look? Is that accumulator the 40cc one? from what I can find, it is. But a second opinion would help. Also, can I use one 40cc instead of 2 20cc? Last quest ...
