What would cause this? have stripped most things down this last weekend, but when removing the plugs, they are dripping with fuel, literally.

Any ideas?

Sorted, for some reason the wiring was drawing a constant live, now working fine

In the cars defence, stood for many many years and it fired up in under 3/4 attempts.

Stays on, even when control is set to off?

Cheers for info, it just seems to be dead - it wont even attempt to turn over, foolishly we should have took note more of the wiring, as something is obviously wrong.

Ok, so we hooked all the electrics up and turned the key, first of all the starter started spinning non stop and all the fans came on, dash lights looked weird and when indicater was engaged, strange ...
