Yep Smoothie, you got it on the head. Left hand side full of water, pumped most of it out with a beer making pump.

Any idea how it could be getting in there, and is there a drain for them?

Hi,

I've got water collecting somewhere, and can hear it sloshing around from the drivers seat when I brake and pull away hard.

I've checked the battery area and those drains into the engine bay ...

Cheers Smoothie, I have it hooked up like that now, it's just the purge valve and the frequency valve I don't have on there.

I think that's a check valve, not sure, I'm sure it used to just hang ar ...

I presume that's very wrong, and the line that goes to the WUR and the underside of the advance unit should tee into the line that feeds from the booster and goes up to the vacuum limiter?

Double check your vacuum line routing. Especially to the ignition distributor - if it has both vac advance and vac retard, make sure the advance is sourced from the port upstream of the throttle valve ...

Replaced some vacuum lines, the ones around the vacuum limiter and the advance to throttle body. Not done the one to the WUR yet but it does need replacing, the elbows also need replacing around ther ...
