The oil preasure does go above 2bar when the engine is cold so I suspect the gauge is working correctly.

Will try and get new spring piston and seal for the pump and see if it improves the preasure ...

Fixed it....

What a pig though getting the speedo cable off, it had what looked like factory red paint across the nut and threads. I guess to indicate that it had not been tampered with.

Thrying to removed my engine but it will only pull 1/2 inch from the torque tube housing then stops. Have a forgot something or might it just be the spline shaft stuck in the clutch plate.
