got quoted $148 through VW, or $120 through Fry's spares. Will resist the urge to support my local dealer and order a $22 one from BMA ... |

ahhh. found a Meyle data sheet for a 191 419 804 that is 18mm longer than the 171 419 804. That'll do nicely  |

just picked up a Mark I Golf tie rod assembly and it's 20mm shorter than the 924 assembly??? threads are the same and the tie rod end is the same ... |
