IIRC, the Australian dollar is just about on par with the Canadian one. Apples to apples, $5000 is too much for an early 924. You can find clean and unmolested 924S's and early 944s here for that mone ...

Unlike the 944 series engine, can I assume that the 924 Turbo's 2.0L isn't an interference design? If true, a cambelt failure isn't the end of the world like in the 2.5L right?
