The first 924 drive of the summer was this morning. It was great to blast down the highway with the window open and the breeze blowing in.

It's been a long winter in storage.

I've found the best stuff for new hose installation is KY Jelly. It also has excellent uses for whatever is left in the tube.

FWIW Mine is a 4 speed and As long as I've had the car (21 years) I've had to go into a forward gear before reverse to stop it making a grind noise.

What you propose is almost a standard BMW stock battery installation. The forward + post in the old battery box will give you a point to jump start or connect a charger in future. Just like BMW.

It was only a minor story on the local news across British Columbia. Hanging a VW bug from the middle of Lions Gate suspension bridge was a better B.C. story.
